The Better Housing Coalition (BHC) announces the appointment of Randy B. Gonzalez to the BHC Board of Directors for a three-year term, effective immediately.

Mr. Gonzalez is Vice President, Portfolio Manager for Virginia Community Capital in Richmond, VA where he manages the bank and holding company’s loan portfolio. Prior to this role, Gonzalez was Banking Solutions Director at Axis Group, LLC where he provided banking clients with strategic guidance and technological solutions to streamline business processes and enhance performance measurement. In an earlier role with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Gonzalez assumed increased responsibilities, from Vice President and Director of Credit Administration to Group Vice President of Credit and Collateral Services. He was also First Vice President and Manager of Policy, Operations and Compliance there, where he set the strategic direction for credit and collateral risk policy and developed and implemented risk mitigation programs and applications. Gonzalez’s career began at Barnett Bank of South Florida, N.A.

Randy received his Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance from the University of Miami. He and his wife reside in Church Hill.
