Dana Henry, M.Ed., PHR, IPMA-CP

Human Resources Generalist

Dana Henry has served as Human Resources Generalist since 2008 for the Better Housing Coalition where she develops, implements and oversees the administration of Human Resources which support the attraction, hiring, retention, training and development as well as compensation of BHC employees.  Dana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Development. She also has a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Human Resource Development and holds designations as a PHR and IPMA-CP.  Dana has over eight years of Human Resources experience that range from recruitment to training and development within the private and public sector. Prior to joining BHC, Dana spent 3 years with the City of Richmond in the Department of Human Resources as an HR Consultant where she was responsible for human resources consulting functions for 10 departments and providing special agency support in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, employee and organizational development.  Dana is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
