SUMMARY:Spring 2017 BHC Community Bus Tours
DESCRIPTION:See what high-quality\, affordable housing looks like: join the Better Housing Coalition on a community bus tour! Bring a friend\, ride in comfort\, and see first-hand how the Better Housing Coalition is providing innovative solutions to Richmond’s critical shortage of affordable housing. From Cary Street to Church Hill and beyond\, we’re revitalizing neighborhoods by transforming blighted properties and creating opportunities for residents to succeed. \nOn the tour\, you’ll hear from some of the experts whose vision makes Richmond a better place for all of us. Highlights include Jefferson Mews\, Beckstoffer’s Mill\, Winchester Greens and more. The tour is from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.\, and lunch will be provided. Registration is required for this free event. Buses leave promptly at noon and return at 2:00. Participants are invited to park at BHC’s most recent acquisition\, the former Quality Inn at 3200 W. Broad Street in Scott’s Addition. \nOnly one tour offered this spring!
