Wheat McDowell is a Principal at Richmond Capital Management. He and his firm manage bond portfolios for institutional investors. He has been on the investment team at Richmond Capital (and back in Richmond) for 18 years. Prior to that, he worked 15 years as a bond trader various investment banks.
Wheat was raised in Richmond and has admired Better Housing Coalition since it began. He is the son of BHC’s Co-Founder Carter McDowell and has been a Board Member for 10 years. Wheat also serves on the Board of ChildFund International and is the President of the St. Christopher’s School Foundation. He holds a B.A. and a M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
