Richard Dickinson is Executive Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for TowneBank. Richard, a Richmond native, has 35 years of experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining TowneBank, he served as President and COO of Bank of Virginia. He began his banking career at SunTrust and held senior positions in both commercial loan production and credit administration.

Richard has a strong background in financing commercial real estate developers and investors. He received a B.S. degree in business from the University of Richmond. He is actively involved in the Better Housing Coalition, The Greater Richmond YMCA and The Doorways. He is also a graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond. Richard resides in Richmond with his wife and they have two daughters.
