Vice President, External Affairs
Stacie Birchett is Vice President of External Affairs at the Better Housing Coalition (BHC), overseeing BHC’s fundraising, communications, marketing and public policy advocacy efforts. Prior to joining BHC in 2013, she was Director of Fund Development and Communications for the Virginia Health Care Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to increasing access to health care for Virginia’s uninsured. She also served as Associate Director of Development for SPARC (School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community).
Ms. Birchett is a member of the Virginia Association of Fundraising Executives (VAFRE) and the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Vermont College of Union Institute and University, and professional certifications in Fundraising and Development, and Marketing for Nonprofits from the University of Richmond’s Institute on Philanthropy.
