Join BHC on a free community tour!

BHC offers opportunities to tour our communities and see first-hand how the Better Housing Coalition is providing innovative solutions to Richmond’s critical shortage of affordable housing. From Cary Street to Church Hill and beyond, we’re revitalizing neighborhoods by transforming blighted properties and creating opportunities for residents to succeed. You’ll hear from some of the experts whose vision makes Richmond a better place for all of us.

2024 Tour Dates:

Wednesday, May 15th: Spring Bike Tour of Richmond’s East End and Happy Hour Social, 6-8PM

Join BHCyp, BHC’s Young Professionals’ Board for a 3-ish mile, mostly flat bike tour of Richmond’s Church Hill neighborhood; and see first-hand how BHC is investing in this historic neighborhood by transforming blighted properties and preserving housing affordability. The ride will be followed by a networking happy hour in the Goodwyn at Union Hill Community Room. Beverages and light snacks will be provided.

Bring your own bike, utilize the nearby bike share station, or we will have a small number of bikes on hand, thanks to our friends at Basket & Bike. The tour is free to attend, but registration is required. Visit the event page to learn more and reserve your space!
