Zanas Talley joined the Better Housing Coalition Board in 2023 after serving on its BHCyp (Young Professionals) Board. Mr. Talley is an attorney at the law firm Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP, where he practices commercial real estate and land use law and counsels developers and landowners in matters and disputes relating to development, financing, acquisition and leasing. His prior experience includes serving as an advisor to Richmond City Commonwealth’s Attorney Colette Wallace McEachin, and as the Legislative Director for Virginia State Senator J. Chapman Petersen. Zanas is a native Richmonder, born and raised in Midlothian, VA.

Mr. Talley attended The Catholic University of America, in Washington D.C., where he studied political theory; he then went on to attend The University of Richmond School of Law.
