Patricia Bradby is the Director of Communications and Programs for Leadership Metro Richmond (LMR). In this role, she fosters connection and community engagement among a diverse cross section of leaders throughout the Richmond Region. Patricia’s career started in live-event marketing and production in New York City, where she worked for various concert venues and event promoters both large and small. Her passion for community engagement led her to form Threads that Teach, a non-profit organization connecting inner-city public schools with innovative opportunities to supplement budget cuts in arts education. More recently, her entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Miss Priss Tea, a tea party catering company which she operated until its closure in December 2019.
Outside of her day job at LMR, Patricia currently serves on the Community Advisory Board for VPM (Virginia’s home for public media); as a volunteer resume reviewer for Sidekick RVA; as a Virginia Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) member helping combat the spread of COVID-19; and she’s an active member of the The Life Church RVA. She has served on the BHCyp (BHC’s Young Professionals) board, most recently as Chair. Motivated by all that she learned from BHC, Patricia purchased her first home in November 2019 in the Highland Park neighborhood of Richmond. She is a graduate of New York University (BM, Music Business) and The University of Texas at Austin (MBA).
